Match and Training Venues

Downend Flyers matches are primarily played on Sundays at our main venues, Pomphrey Hill and Johnson Road, where we have access to a total of nine pitches across both sites. Local all-weather pitches (AWP) are also used when required.

During the summer months, training takes place at Johnson Road, with women’s teams training on Wednesdays and mini and youth teams training on Thursdays. Winter training moves to local all-weather pitches at Downend Sports Centre and Bristol Metropolitan Academy.
